It spins too fast! Globe falls out if the power fails. I left it on display anyway.

This is a beautiful and interesting product. It makes a great addition to a modern decor. My only complaint is that the mechanism that makes the globe automatically rotate works too well. It causes the globe to spin so fast you can’t enjoy the beautiful work that was put into the globe. It makes it all a blur. I would recommend that if the mechanism can’t be adjusted to slow the rotation down significantly, then remove it. At least then you can enjoy the artwork of the globe. Overall I would still recommend it. It really is beautiful

I give you five stars for a great concept, but one star for the execution.You expect a revolving earth to do so slowly and majestically, but this thing spins like a top! You can’t really read or see anything on the surface as it spins so fast.After several months, the magnet no longer suspended it and I threw it in the garbage…

This little globe is pretty cool. It takes a bit of practice to get the globe in the right position, but once it's there, it floats forever.At first we were disappointed because the globe sometimes spun the wrong way. If you give it a little spin in the right direction though, it does keep going permanently in the right direction.It's neat at night too, because it lights up from inside the globe and cycles through various colors (it does this during the day too of course, but you can't really see it in the daylight).The details on the map are much better than expected and are easy to read and accurate.Definitely worth the money.
