I gave this as a Christmas present. Upon opening I was disappointed in the quality of the build. The entire stand is plastic, and looks like plastic. The globe itself is ok, but the whole thing just looks like its cheap.

First of all, there’s no raised relief. Second, the physical map colours are much darker than on pictures, making places in mountainous regions unreadable. This is not even close to being worth the price it charges.

We feel this globe is a bit "chintzy" for the price. It is extremely lightweight and the silver side arm is plastic. The globe does not spin freely as it has a constant click noise when spinning. Light-up feature is super cool and so far we haven't found any inconsistencies.

I returned product twice. Was delivered broken both times. Plastic tabs for mounting brackets break easily

The globe is well designed. The geography and relief very accurate but the support stand arrived broken. Why? Because it is plastic junk. This costs 200.00C$. It's worth maybe 50.00C$

I was actually excited when I saw "Made in Italy" on the label, but once I opened the package, I got let down pretty quickly. I purchased this globe as a gift, and am disappointed in the poor design. The northern hemisphere is misshapen and thereʻs an "overbite" along the equator. A lot of the gummy, contact cement-like adhesive was haphazardly left on the plastic meridian, wooden base, and along the edges of where the hemisphere should have met. On top of all of that, the bulb burnt out as soon as I plugged it in. $114.99 was what I paid, but i would rather get a refund and get my money back. Such a bummer.

I bought this globe for my niece and her two children of school age. Everyone loved the design, size, and illumination features. Her husband announced, "we are putting this in the living room where everyone who comes can enjoy it."

As a "visual" person, the Internet has been a major disappointment when describing events taking place half a world away. Where's the "half?" This globe is a MAJOR reminder of Geography 101 back in the day. I see where things happen, and I see where I am. I love it!

This is a beautiful globe! The size is great, easy enough to read, looks accurate, well made and sturdy. When illuminated is amazingly beautiful! Love the colors!!!

2 months of having this globe and carefully caring for it, this thing broke. The screw that attaches the base to the globe is plastic and therefore not fixable. I'm unable to get a replacement screw or any solution for a $100 purchase??? Very disappointed.

Ordered this for my son's Xmas. Upon opening it, we discovered a split between the hemispheres. There's no way to rectify this. Wish I could get a replacement but unfortunately I can't and I can't return it easily as I am based outside of the US.
