These are nice denim shorts for casual wear. They are decently sewn though have some stray threads and are a medium-weight denim. My mediums had a waist of 29", a hip of 40" and an inseam of 3.5", which is in line with the manufacturer's published size chart. There is a good bit of horizontal stretch though not much vertical stretch. The patch pockets are ridiculously small and awkwardly-placed and I do not find these to be particularly high-waisted, though they do ride up in the crotch a little. The medium blue is a good classic denim blue. I find these overpriced at the regular price of $29 but reasonable at the sale price of $19. Tag says not to tumble dry, which is ridiculous; all jeans get tumble dried in my universe because who has the time or space to air dry them? Unrealistic manufacturer expectations.

Fit nicely, soft and stretchy material. Good length for a short person. We'll buy a different color.

These shorts are as described. For me they fit true to size. The material is stretchy so you have some wiggle room on the sizing. Love the fabric and the high waist part. They are easy to button which I was worried about but I really don't have to even unbutton these shorts. My hips are small and the stretch in the fabric allow me just to pull these shorts on and off. Wow! I love that. Good price on these high quality shorts.

I ordered these blue jean shorts for my wife and we both think that they are very well made. They fit true to size and are very comfortable due to the stretchy material they are made of. However, they are a bit shorter than depicted in the pictures. Otherwise, a cute pair of shorts.

These are decent jean shorts, pretty much what you expect. The material is thicker but flexible with decent stretch. Comfortable for casual wear, but I would not want to go hiking or be overly athletic in them, I think they might chafe a bit. The size seems just on the smaller side, so if you are on the cusp, go slightly larger or they'll be a tight fit. The color is as shown.

Keep in mind they have a short inseam. If you're tall these may not look right on you. Love the button up fly, the little patch pockets are so cute and real pockets. This is made of a lighter weight stretch denim but it's still plenty strong. Pair these with a jean jacket or vest, some cool boots... for a winning outfit! These come in some great color choices! I may just have to get more LOL. I got them in the darkness blue for that classic blue jean color. Regular price $ 28.99 per the listing, on sale $ 19.99 for a great buy!

Update: The more I wear these, I notice that they start to ride up in the middle. Waist is comfortable, but I'm finding I'm constantly pulling down the legs from gathering in my crotch if I do a lot of walking. So I basically stick to these shorts when I'm not having to do a lot of walking (ie. not going shopping, but maybe doing a lot of sitting at sporting events)_______________I normally wear a size 25-26 in jeans and got this in a small (size chart says equivalent to a 4-6) in black. The shorts are high waisted so they sit higher at your waist (so above the bellybutton) and so the nice thing is that if you have a bit of a tummy, there's nothing to fold over when sitting down. Fits a tad loose on me, but won't fall off without a belt. Little bit of stretch in the fabric.If you're a thicc thigh girly, these would probably work great for you. The leg part flairs out a bunch - I have muscular/thicker thighs and there is a ton of room for my legs. Usually with jean shorts, they're pretty snug and ride up a bunch as I wear them. Small slits on the bottom hem for extra room.These are a button fly - so it takes a little bit extra effort to button/unbutton when dressing and going to the restroom. Pockets in the front rather than side pockets. They're cute.
