I love this. Super easy to set up, very sturdy and looks great. Perfect for my little ones because it’s not heavy at all

I have always wanted one of these but I didn’t like the look of them and most of them do not fold down for storage. This not only looks good, but it folds easily for storage underneath the sink or next to a toilet. It’s very sturdy and it works nicely. There was nothing to assemble, it came fully ready to go.

We got my daughter in college the original name brand version of this item and she absolutely loves it. I decided to order this LotusSway brand one so 1) I could see what all the hype was about and 2) so my daughter would have one here when she comes home on break. This is a nice solid piece - the wood, although much darker than the product image, is lovely. My FIL, a talented woodworker, commented on its excellent quality. The sides fold down easily but it can also be left in place, unfolded, ready to use. Small foam stickers are included which can be affixed, I’m assuming, to keep it from sliding around on a tiled or wooden bathroom floor. I haven’t um,..been able “take this for a spin yet,” but my daughter has and says it works well. We received this through Amazon Vine at a reduced cost in exchange for our opinion, but feel the full price is reasonable. It’s less expensive than the Squatty Potter we purchased but seems to serve the same purpose just as well. I did deduct a star because it’s much darker than the product image. The dark wood really stands out in contrast to the lighter shades of the bathroom in which it’s placed. I do recommend this - it’s a nice money saving alternative to the name brand one.

Did I leave this in the box for a week because I opened it and thought I had to put it together? Yes, yes I did. My mistake. It was packed well and came out of the bubble wrap ready to use. (There was also a piece of styrofoam which I wish there wasn't because of the mess it makes and because it never goes away.) This stool feels sturdy, folds with the touch of an easy to use set of levers, and it looks good. I never thought I'd be calling a toilet stool beautiful but life is full of surprises. It is worth noting that the wood is substantially darker than the listing picture. I prefer the darker look so I don't mind and obviously there is always variance with wood but keep it in mind if you are looking for a very specific look. Also keep in mind leg length and toilet height vary so if you have not tried something like this before, check the measurements to make sure it will work for you. It comes with foam foot pads which I skipped but others might use. Overall, this toilet stool has both form and function and is well made!

I've been waiting for the perfect poop stool and I've finally found it. Most other stools were too large, I couldn't hide it or store it out of view and they all looked so cheap. This stool checked all the boxes when it came to finding the perfect one for our bathroom. Not only is it functional, it's aesthetic so even if we forget to fold it up, it doesn't look out of place. I love that the legs easily fold up when we want to store it out of view. It fits perfectly in the tight spaces. The best part is, it's highly effective at what it's supposed to do. I refuse to go without it.

This is a very elegant toilet stool. I tried one other folding wooden squat stool before this... and this one is better. That one had 4 extremely strong locking hinges... this one only has two and that's all that's needed! 4 makes it difficult to close. This one is also slightly shorter, which makes it more comfortable to use; it's also slightly narrower, which means it tucks in under the bowl, out of the way, better. The acacia wood is beautiful... but note that acacia wood is primarily dark, and often has very light high-contrast streaks in it. When ordering acacia wood products online, you never know what kind of wood pattern you're going to receive. These wood squat stools are far superior to the big plastic ones tried 8-10 years ago, that are not only huge... because they are not collapsible, it remained permanently parked at the base of the throne. I used it for a short while but hated the look of it and how dirty it got, that at one point tossed it. A beautiful wooden folding one that can be discreetly stashed away is a game changer.

The LotusSway Foldable Toilet Stool arrived quickly, well-packaged, and undamaged. It is a beautiful piece of furniture - I call it that because of solidly the item is constructed. While I wouldn't recommend standing on it, it is build with that kind of sturdiness in mind. The wood is solid, as are the hinges that allow you to fold and stow away the stool when not in use. The non-slip feature are four pieces of dense foam that stick to the bottoms of the legs (I took the pictures before sticking them on).A note on the fold-away feature: the legs when unfolded lock into place. You have to pull on a spring-loaded little metal pin to fold the legs down. I couldn't do it single-handedly, though I am able-bodied. You'll have to either bend down to do this for each leg (see image) or pull the stool up on the counter. Keep this in mind if you are getting it for someone with mobility, strength, or flexibility issues. Of course, if your bathroom is big enough, you could always slide it to the side to keep it out of the way and not bother with folding the legs. Regardless, it is something worth keeping in mind.Overall, though, at the price point, this stool exceeded my expectations for build quality and sturdiness. I would absolutely recommend it.
