Much sturdier than I was expecting, which is a great surprise. Hardware feels good and trustworthy.The push mechanism is a little stiff (on mine, new anyway), so if you have joint troubles and plan to stow and pop-up constantly, it might be a little uncomfortable.I forgot about the little rubber feet add ons, which are great! (Mine are a little crooked, but you put them on yourself, so not a manufacturer error).*** Only warning, before first use, check zigzag details for any rough spots that might stick up/out of the detail, don't want a splinter.

This stool is well made and folds down for easy storage. It fits well around the base of my 40 year old, water guzzling toilet.My only issues are 1) it is too tall for my arthritic knees to bend that much, 2) the springs that release the locking pins are too stiff to easily pinch with arthritic fingers (I can do it now, but in a few years I won't be able to), and 3) it is heavy to lift (compared to plastic stools of similar size) because of the sturdy metal hardware.I recommend this for people who do not have joint issues. It is attractive, sturdy, and functional.

This foldable wooden stool serves a double function in my household! For my kid who is 4-5 years old to step on and reach the potty by himself, and for a "potty squatty" function for adults and kids alike. 👏🏽 👏🏽 It is sturdy, and I have had no slipping accidents or issues whatsoever. I also liked that it is foldable for easier storage if needed. Aesthetically it also looks nice. =)I looked at a lot of different options sold online and selected this one in the end. I love it and am happy with my purchase.I mainly purchased this stool for my young child, but I like that it helps us all with our potty usage, haha.

This is actually a nice, pretty item. Good quality and serves its purpose well. It folds easily if you choose to do so. It fits nicely around the base of the toilet. Great product. The height is perfect for average size person. If very tall, you might consider a different size.

This wooden “squat” stool is well made and sturdy. It slides around the sides of the toilet when not in use. The legs have rubber pads that can be added so that the stool has a secure grip with the floor and doesn’t move around when you’re using it.I do want to warn that if you don’t have good balance you need to be extra careful so that you don’t trip or your feet don’t get caught up in it. It’s not as unobscured as the other type of squat stool sold in n TV but it does look more aesthetically pleasing.
