Even shade tree mechanics need to have a set of these pinchers. We have all used vice grips to pinch off hoses and we have all ruined hoses in doing so. Grips never seem to close off the bigger hoses completely either.The wide range of sizes included with this set are going to cover most if not all automotive fluid hoses. The plastic construction is less likely to cause any damage to the hose while in use. The tools are easy to deploy and they will hang on until you decide to remove them.These low cost tools have a place in any serious mechanic's tool box and I recommend purchasing a set.

The 2 normal looking pliers don’t even work. No matter what so they will never be able to pinch something. I got these either way for 3D printing purposes to pull off the supports easier and some will work for that.
