The Lizard Skins DSP Bar Tape V2 features a new pattern, an upgraded polymer and a screw-in bar plug. The new pattern is more technical with a new design and multiple layers of depth.

Nastro dal gruppo fantastico , difficile da montare in quanto lo spessore non permette di girare bene attorno alle leve creando non poche difficoltà pre riuscire a stenderlo e tenerli tirato , visto anche che l'adesivo è praticamente inesistente e inefficace. In pratica il nastro resta teso solo perché chiuso dal tappo manubrio e dal nastro adesivo alla fine. Voglio vedere quanto durerà e se non inizierà a vedere cedere nei punti dove l'adesivo e inesistente. Peccato sembrava buono, per non parlare del prezzo

I use the tape on my indoor stationery bike and then use the really cool lizard skin bar caps on my mountain bike for outside use.

Guidoline très (même un peu trop) épaisse et confortable mais.. quasiment impossible à installer, le ruban de scotch double face ne colle absolument pas

Ho preso questo nastro su consiglio di un amico.Ovviamente materiali al top, ma la cosa che è più impressionante è lo spessore del nastro.Devo ancora provarlo ma sono sicuro che il comfort è ai massimi livelli.

I wish that I had never spent twice as much for this tape as I usually do for others. It’s far too thick to wrap correctly without stretching, tucking bar ends, etc. It still rotates over the bar even when wrapped evenly and tightly. Stretch it and it’ll peel. It’s tacky like the thinner versions, but the cushion most definitely is not worth the price nor the hassle. Zipp Service Course is the way to go.

The grip of the tape is fantastic, i can't complain about that, but the 4.x thickness and demand to not have the tape stretched makes it super hard to wrap correctly. The 4.x thickness also makes the bars incredibly thick, significantly thicker than you expect. And the tape doesn't really squish when you grab it, it's probably a good thing but I was still expecting more. The 2.x or the 3.x tape is probably better overall, that grip is really good, but i was expecting more.

I had the tape put on by professionals. Unfortunately, even the pros had trouble installing tape this thick properly. My hand sweat eats at standard microfiber or cork tape. This stuff is better, but it was such a sloppy installation, that my bars were unraveling within two weeks, necessitating that I have new tape installed yet again. I'd use their thinner tapes in the future, but will be avoiding this very comfy, very cushy, very flawed thick stuff in the future.
