The product overall is okay. My dog likes it as an alternative to drinking water while in his kennel.When you first fill it with water it does leak(drops). After my dog drinks from it, the leaking stops.Chew proof is okay. It is metal so my dog doesn’t bite it, however it is a soft metal not tough.Cleaning is like cleaning a baby bottle. You need a bottle scrub and straw scrub to properly clean it.

I've used these for my parrots for years. The big opening allows for easy cleaning.....just wish they made it in green.....if you use them in a sunny room, keep an eye out for algae growth. But my birds took to them right away.

I actually bought four four my bunnies'. Due to the cold weather (they are frozen) I am able I put one in each pocket of my barn coat and switch in the morning and at night. Do not drip, Easy to change. Bunnies like them.

I purchased this for our new bunny. There was clear directions and it was simple and easy to install. After reading many different reviews on this product and many others I was hopeful this simple one would work. Unfortunately, it was not letting out water properly. I kept an eye on the water level and after noticing it was not moving I decided to purchase a completely different brand and model.I would always recommend watching the water level when installing a new water bottle and especially watching if purchasing this product since it works for some and not for others.

This leaks and doesn’t work

You probably know the story if you're here to buy a water bottle for your Guinea Pig, rabbit, hamster, etc.... You have one of these guys at home and every morning you wake to find a pool of water saturating the bedding or mat below. Unsanitary and eventually you might end up taking your pet to the vet for a problem. So you search for a "Leak Proof" water bottle. You buy one and another and another but same issue. This brand even has a label on it on how to exactly fill it. It still leaks to no avail. I am begging to think 90% of these types of water bottles are made to leak. They are made cheaply you don't sending it back or you struggle with it for a few days or weeks so you can't return it. This one is no exception... it leaks like a sieve. Look elsewhere unless you wanna burn a little more cash on yet another bottle.

The design is a little weird but it doesn't leak. That's all I care about. My rats are able to get water out of it just fine. Very happy with this purchase. CORRECTION, THE FIRST DAY IT DIDN'T LEAK AND I WAS SO EXCITED. IT HAS BEEN LEAKING EVERYDAY SINCE AND I CAN'T GET IT TO STOP. IT IS A CONSTANT DRIP. NOW I'M SAD.

This bottle is the perfect design and size for a chinchilla. I have used this bottle for several years and I am buying 2 more- very accessible, easy to fill and hang on cage, durable and chinchillas love it. And it never leaks, as the tube offset from the water pressure (which is directly downward, but the tube is mounted on the side of the bottle). Very good product, I would definitely recommend.
