The LIKIMIO Adjustable Base Split King Bed Frame offers an excellent blend of functionality, comfort, and ease of use. After testing the bed frame for a couple of days, here’s an in-depth look at what I liked and didn’t quite like about it.Pros:1. Sturdy Construction:Each side of this adjustable base weighs 92 lbs, which gives it a solid, high-quality feel. It feels built to last, and I haven’t experienced any wobbling or instability, even with the adjustable features in use.2. Easy Assembly:The assembly process was surprisingly quick and straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was able to set it up with minimal effort. It took about 20-25 minutes to get both sides ready for use, which was a pleasant surprise.3. USB Ports & USB-C Ports:The inclusion of both 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports on each side is a fantastic touch. I can easily charge my phone, tablet, or other devices right by my bedside without needing an additional power strip. It’s a convenience I didn’t realize I needed until I had it.4. Massage Functionality:The 3 different massage modes (with 3 levels of intensity) are really effective. Even through a mattress, I can feel the vibrations quite well, which is perfect for a relaxing night in bed. The massage function has become a favorite feature, especially for unwinding after a long day.Cons:1. Pillow Tilt Limitations:While the head section of the bed lifts independently, I wish the pillow tilt feature could be controlled separately from the head lift. I often want to raise just my head but leave the pillow in a neutral position, which isn’t possible with this design. The pillow tilts whenever the head section is adjusted, which is a minor inconvenience.2. App Connectivity Issues:This is where the adjustable base falls short for me. The app only seems to connect to one base at a time, which is a limitation, especially since this is a Split King. Each side of the bed can either function independently or be linked together, but you can’t control both bases from the app when they are set to independent modes. It would be great to have the ability to manage both sides simultaneously, especially when using separate functions.Final Thoughts:Overall, the LIKIMIO Adjustable Base Split King Bed Frame offers great value for the price. It’s sturdy, easy to set up, and packed with useful features like the USB ports and massage function. The only real downsides are the inability to adjust the pillow tilt independently and some issues with app connectivity. However, these are relatively minor compared to the overall quality and performance of the bed frame.If you’re looking for an inexpensive durable, comfortable adjustable base with great features, this is definitely a solid option.
