Does not have power source or instructionsOnce I found a power cord that works for them, they are pretty bright. However I thought they came with 3 power cords. It does not!! Also the adhesive is one single piece on the back of each ones. You have to cut it apart if you want to use them singly.

I've been looking for 12V LED modules for some small wall lamp projects I've been working on. This 200 piece set is separated into 10 blocks, with 20 light modules on each. If you attach these blocks to a 12V power source, they are BRIGHT. If you are lighting large signs, you might need to use several blocks, but they should get the job done. There is doublesided tape on the back, which seems adequate, but depending on where these are being installed, I'm not sure I would trust it to hold up in heavy duty conditions.For my small applications, I need to separate the individual modules, and these are wired in a way that make it pretty easy. I use a utility knife to cut the doublesided tape to separate the units, and snip the wires between the modules. The individual modules are easy to connect and chain because each has 2 sets of wires, that come out of each side of the module. One wire is white (ground) and one is white with a black stripe (positive). As long as you connect at least one white wire from each module to the ground side pf the circuit, and one striped wires lead from each module to the positive side, the lights will work. Having solid white as the "ground" color breaks away from the traditional coloring of ground, but check your circuit as you go and you shouldn't have any problems.Even on their own, each module is still very bright. The picture doesn't really do them justice...each individual light is bright enough that it is uncomfortable to look directly at. I'm happy with that output and these will suit my needs.

LEDs are bright, and have the classic white LED color, I like the blue/white light others call it "Harsh" white.Power draw is in line with the claimed specifications. The sticky backing does not stick well however and the modules are constantly falling off and hanging down. The light focus is good, not spots so multiple units don't create ghosting shadows. The wires to the modules are on the small side and there is a noticeable diming along the chain if you use all the modules in one string. (The ones closer to the power supply are noticeably brighter). There is no concern of fire as the wires don't get warm or start to overheat.

I used 40 of these to light-up a 3x3 foot sign. They are smaller than other lights I have used, so I did use more than normal, but in the end, they light-up just the same. The smaller size, did allow me to make curves and angles better, so that's a plus. My sign is fused in two places and so far there has been no issues with these lights. I have so many left over, I'll have to figure out a new place to use them! A great value!

I recently purchased some similar led strips from another brand, which seems to be the main producer listed on amazon. The other ones had 2 LEDs per module, these have 3. I've tested one "block" out of each pack and they seem to be pretty comparable on brightness (obviously 3 is brighter than 2, but per LED). These were definitely way cheaper than the competitor which is a huge plus. My biggest concern at the moment is the adhesive strip on the "main brand" covers the entire back of the LED, whereas this only attaches to about 2/3 of it. It may be enough to hold the light in place, but I haven't tested that yet. It seems like something silly to cut corners on, and I can always add more adhesive if needed, but it's almost more inconvenient to have to work around the tape they installed than it would've been to just install the right size to begin with. I'm going to install these on a project in the next week or two and depending on how they hold up, I may adjust my review. But brightness and cost wise, I'm very satisfied.

These strips appear very bright, and power came in just a tad under the claimed 1.2 W per module (I measure 1.12 W). If you want to do current control, that should work fine; that way you could dim them a bit and save a lot of power (and increase lifespan).They don't tell you about polarity: it does matter. Mine can with a white wire and a white wire with a black stripe... the black stripe wire was positive. Odd choice of color coding, especially for use in the USA, but once you know, ok.Voltage drop after 5 modules, with 12 V power, was 225 mV. I'd estimate by 10-20 modules, you might notice the voltage drop.Finally, I didn't assess the double-sided foam tape, but it looks to me like they are trying to make the brand look like "3M", but it's not. I'd prefer a brand name here, for reliable performance outdoors over years. You'll just have to see whether it lasts.

Ordered a custom sign and it had no instructions. Plugged it into 120v house current and blew out all the LED’s. Later figured out it had a 12v transformer. So had to replace all the LED lights inside. These worked fantastic and it’s as good as new
