I wanted to like this product. I am partial to leather. I am also partial to products arriving in perfect shape. This product arrived damaged.The product consists of a desk mat, a coaster and a catch-all. All are made of leather. The mat and coaster have potential - the catch-all not so much, at least not in my opinion.All three pieces arrive tightly rolled in a cloth bag which is encased in shrink wrap. Once unpacked, it takes some doing to flatten the pieces. The coaster in my set still won't stay flat (though I suspect it will eventually).The catch-all starts out as a flat square of leather with button-style rivets in each of the four corners. Snap the button-style rivets together and the effect is to pull the catch-all into a roughly 2-inch deep, squarish basin for odds and ends such as paper clips, pens, etc.The mat and coaster are basic, finished leather. They are somewhere between 1/16th and 1/8th inch think. They are stitched around the outer edge. As I said above, they have potential. Unfortunately, in the set I received, the button-style rivets on the catch-all dented and scratched the finish side of the leather mat. There's no polishing or rubbing those dents and scratches out.The mat was also sported some sort rub marks which I suspect were present before shipping. A bit of polish hides those marks quickly enough, but those marks should have been caught by quality control. They weren't. Or they were and someone chose to knowingly ship a marred product.Absent the damage described above, the leather has an aged look, almost to the point of old leather that has not been treated and is at risk of cracking. To be clear, the leather is not cracking. It's actually in fairly good shape, at least where it wasn't marred by rivets. I'll put the mat and coaster to use, but this set isn't a product I'd order again.My 3-star rating stems from the damage found on the mat out-of-the-box. Had it not been for that damage, I'd have given this product a 4-star rating. Why not a 5-star rating? Chalk that up to my opinion of the catch-all - I find it rather ugly. By contrast, but for the damage described above, the mat and the coaster are nice, especially if you like an old, worn look.

I chose this leather desk pad to match my leather laptop sleeve, and overall, I’m very pleased with its look and quality. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the pad feels durable and luxurious.A nice bonus was the inclusion of a leather coaster and a snapped-together leather tray. The tray is versatile—if you leave it flat, it works perfectly as a mouse pad, even though I’m not sure it’s advertised that way. It’s a thoughtful addition that adds functionality to the set.My only complaint is that the color of the extras didn’t match the desk pad. The desk pad itself matched the color shown in the listing, but the extras were noticeably lighter, which was a bit disappointing when aiming for a cohesive look.Despite this minor issue, the quality and overall aesthetic make this a worthwhile purchase. If color consistency isn’t a dealbreaker for you, this set is a great choice for adding a touch of elegance to your workspace.

This leather mat is real, heavy duty, full grain leather that still has a rustic elegance even while taking a lot of abuse. I use mine for everything, particularly a preparation area for drinks and it often takes moisture. The stains just add to the character. Would likely last forever with proper care!
