this is a nice, medium heavy tart dish. Browned the crust of my quiche very nicely and looks good too.

I usually love Le Creuset, but I have been noticing some quality control issues lately. This is not inexpensive for a tart pan and the first one I received had an imperfection in the ceramic right in the center of the pan. Amazon did replace and the new one was fine, but for this money all the pieces that leave the factory should be without issue.

I was initially hesitant to purchase stoneware over the internet because I didn't know the quality of this item or whether it would arrive undamaged. After researching the Le Creuset brand, I went ahead and ordered this item. When the item arrived, I was very pleased,not only with the quality of the item, but with its packaging that got it to me undamaged. It appears so far to be consistent with the brand's reputation for high quality stoneware. I can recommend this item.
