This little hi-hat tambourine sounds great and having the ON / OFF lock feature really comes in handy. it is worth the price!

This hi-hat mounting tambourine works as it should, truly. The only improvement I suggest would be a muffling of the jingles while activating them and deactivating them. I don’t know exactly how that would be accomplished without hindering the resonance of the jingles. Presently, I use a wash cloth wrapped around the perimeter of the tambourine to muffle the jingles while turning them on and off. Not perfect but it helps a bit,

The option to turn on or off with one click is brilliant and allows flexibility between numbers . Highly recommended .

This thing is great brand new. Clamps nicely to the hi hat shaft above the top cymbal. Push the black spring loaded button and silences very well. For about 4 to six months. I never strike it with a stick, (bad results from first one I bought) I’m on my third one and unfortunately, they all seem to fail after awhile. The spring button will no longer toggle between open and silence. Not a big deal except that they are $69 freakin dallies each time. I like LP products, but if someone else would build a better mousetrap that would actually last, I’d buy it in a heartbeat even if it was more expensive. I hate having to replace it. Otherwise, I love. Does what it’s supposed to.

Molto soddisfatto. Consegna come sempre impeccabile.

Looks great, sounds great. I used this at church and the drum kit was not mic'd. But this tambourine cuts through the house mix when not mic'd up! (My girlfriend was in the back of the room and she could hear it. Lol) I was using lightning rod sticks and wasn't hitting it hard at all.

Just got this this week. First night I practiced with it my stick hit the top locking feature. Broke it right off and not locking mechanism does not work. Very us satisfied for what I paid for it. All plastic and the top locking mechanism has a thin piece of plastic on the top that broke easily.

If you need or are looking for a great Hi-Hat Tambourine, this is the best one on the market. LP generally costs more; however, the construction and lock feature (silencer mechanism), makes it worth the investment. I have used several models, including the single and double ring models. LP definitely has the better sound and the best around contruction, of all that I have seen. Definitely, worth the few dollars more... Thanks LP, you are still number 1 in percussion.

I used to toss my hand-held tambo on my hi-hat stand for chink effects when closing the hats. It would slide around, get in the way, not always sound strongly, and generally be a pain in the butt. While this device is small (a good thing- stays out of the way of the edges of the hats), it is quite loud. It attaches to your hi-hat stand rod via a sturdy wing nut. The absolute coolest feature is the on/off toggle button (the black part shown on the illustration), which allows you to instantly toggle from jingle to completely silent. When in jingle mode, the tambo can also be played with sticks, to good effect. Now this is not going to cut through a rock band without micing, but if you do have a mic on your hats, or play in a relatively quiet band, you'll be good. (When in a non-miked environment, I swing my vocal mic down near the hats to catch the "chink". ) So far, holding up great, after maybe 10 gigs and being stuffed into a parts briefcase.
