My husband and I have talked for years about getting one of these white wood Nativity sets for the yard at Christmastime. When this one popped up on my radar, it seemed affordable for the larger size we were wanting. Well, I should've known there was a reason for that. Sadly, this structure is horrible. It's made of that plasticky corrugated "cardboard" that's not really cardboard. That's so they can call it "weatherproof". But, it's SUPER flimsy and would not stay up, even if there was no weather. The gentlest breeze knocks it over. We got so tired of going out to the yard every day to try to fix it, we finally just gave up and chucked the whole set in the burn pile. Totally disappointed.

I wasn't sure of the longevity of this Nativuty set as the pieces seemed pretty thin and light. I was very impressed that it lasted well thru several extreme windstorms and buckets of rain. I set up a spotlight that lit the nativity from the front and threw the shadows on my house. So pretty. I did take two metal fence posts and, after sinking them well into the ground, attached them with strong tape to the front corners of the stable. I also sank the brackets that came with the set well into the ground around the stable and on the back of the two animals.My only negative is the fact that small screws are used to hold the various sections together. This is not effective as the screws are very small and pull out of the pvc shapes pretty easily. There needs to be a better way to hold the set together, which is why I deducted a star.I do really like the set, though. It seemed pretty expensive to me considering what was received, especially considering the fact that I thought it wouldn't last. But I now think this will last, with care, for several Christmas seasons. Another plus is that it is very easy to store in the original box.

This is definitely an indoor Nativity Scene! I set it up out on my lawn and it really looked beautiful even though I thought the construction of it was not of my liking. I put a string of white lights on it and made it look spectacular. When the next day came with wind, it literally fell apart!!!!! The screws are so tiny that the slightest wind was just too much for it. Very disappointed! It says it is an outdoor scene...NOT!I brought it...all pieces...into the house and attempted to put it back together. A couple of small pieces broke, but I persevered and with a lot of clear outdoor tape, got it back together. Keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts until after New Year's Day. Very disappointed! Will look for something sturdier next year!!!

The nativity scene arrived this afternoon. I spent 15-20 minutes putting it together.It came with two long rods but there were no mounts to accompany them. I don’t see the need for the long rods unless we get Gail force windsThe instructions were not bad. 3 pages worth! Well with the $49.00 price.

This is an okay nativity scene but it is nice and big. The material feels a bit cheap to me so not sure how well it will hold up over time. Assembly was a bit more difficult than expected and feels flimsy after it was built. I don't expect to use this next year.

This was pretty easy to put together. I was missing some brackets to hold the rods on the back that holds it uprite .Lucky I had some in my shop to use on it instead.Should last years being weather resistant.

Hard to assemble. Screws that came with it arnt long enough to hold it together. Flimsy. Broke before we could even display outside. Took forever to ship. Not worth the price you pay.
