This Christmas Nativity Yard display was quite different from my expectations. It’s very small—too small for my yard but suitable for the landscaping near my front porch. While it was up, I had a display light on it, and it looked decent. However, it falls apart with the slightest touch or even a gentle breeze. It lacks the stability to stay together. The holes where the pieces fit are too large, causing the inserts to fall off easily. I guess one could use zip ties to keep it assembled and just cut them when it’s time to store it. As shown in my picture, this is pretty much how it looked after I set it outside. Aside from its inability to remain upright, the packaging was poor and it was frustrating to assemble. The only positive aspect is that the material is weatherproof and easy to clean. I might keep it and try using zip ties next year.

The shipping package was a paper bag. The display comes un-assembled in a clear plastic bag.B. Several pieces were damaged by rough handling in shipment; five of the star points were mangled.C. The product is white painted corrugated cardboard like a political sign.D. The large pieces are shipped folded in half. You have to unfold to assemble. The folds are permanent. E. Taping the fold seams is necessary to prevent the large pieces from collapsing on themselves.F. The connection of the manger to the fence is by cutouts and notches. Will not stay together.G. There is no way provided to secure the display to the ground. Blows away in a breeze.Not recommended.

I love seeing these around my neighborhood and was excited to get this to see if I could make mine look as good as they made theirs. It is a puzzle that you need to put together. There are several sticks that you use to connect the bigger pieces. The look is great but there is no way that it would hold up outside. I highly suggest that this be an indoor decoration that is lit up inside. I live in an area where we get extreme weather and I want this to last.
