Algae problems? No worries, buy a copper test kit and keep them copper levels accurate and maintained and you won’t have that problem any more. I bought this one for the accuracy. I have not had luck with test strips for any pool chemicals

We have an ionized pool and have always used this kit to test the copper. It is very easy to use and seems to be accurate.

We use this item to check copper levers in the pool since we don’t use any chlorine in it (by the way, a salt pool system converts to chlorine on the water so we don’t use that either) the most important thing on this item is to make sure that you have at least one or two years left on it. A lot of people sell them with one month before the chemicals expire. The one we got had two year expiration date, which is good.
