Awesome plant boxes! I love using these in my apartment for my indoor garden I'm growing. They are a decent size to grow things like cilantro, thyme, etc. I currently have some jalapenos growing in these right now and they are really liking and growing well in these planters. I like how at the bottom it has a tray part that you fill with the soil but the tray helps separate itself from the outer shell so you can have some reserve water at the bottom of the planter but not where the soil is sitting in it and causing root rot. The planter box comes with a bobber of sorts that goes on the corner to help you measure and keep track of the water level at the bottom and this has been super helpful to control overwatering issues. Overall a great and very functional planter that I plan on getting more of for future garden use.

This is a good size planter box. I really like the appearance and that it is a solid product. It will easily hold whatever plants I put in it.

Beautiful self watering planter. Using with pon and my monstera Thai! Looks gorgeous and works well. Nice modern looking design that matches well with my other white meter read self watering planters. Easy to clean. Just a little heavy with pon but thats to be expected lol.

This little box has a lot of great features to help you from killing your plants or better yet help them thrive! The biggest thing is the water meter. This will tell you if you have enough water in your box. This is always the hardest thing for me to know. But now it is much easier. The soil keeps out of the water so that the roots don't just sit in the water and rot. There is a drain to replace the water as well as a knob at the top of the measuring unit to remind you when to add fertilizer so the dirt doesn't lose nutrients. Overall this is a good looking pot with high quality materials

This is a great little planter box with an enclosed drainage area, and the possibility for it to be a "wicking" planter, which just means water will drain to the bottom, and the small area of soil that rests down at water level will wick water up to the roots of the plant. This function is great for plants that need constantly damp soil. This type of planter requires less frequent watering than a traditional pot and drainage tray would. For plants that require dry soil and the roots need to dry out between watering, this pot is not ideal, but could work if you don't water enough to fill the reservoir in the bottom, and I mean like barely water it. The design will allow for drainage but the water drains into an enclosed space and won't evaporate away, so this wouldn't allow the soil and roots to dry out as much as a more traditional pot with an open drain pan under it.I haven't planted anything in this yet but I've made larger versions of this type of planter and they work great for growing plants in my very hot (110 degrees F +) and dry climate. I normally would have to water my hibiscus every day in a regular pot outside but with wicking planters, i could water every 3-7 days and my plants would still be happy. If you're using this as a wicking pot I recommend lining the bottom with a permeable fabric barrier, and pushing it down into the two lower wicking spots so dirt can sit down at the water level but can't mix with the water.

I purchased this planter for my wife's house plants. The dimensions stated on the website are correct. This planter has a long rectangular shape. I would say it is on the small side for horizontal planters. Due to the built-in water reservoir located at the bottom, the planter seems very tall for its width the length. But overall, although it is a simple stark white color, it looks good. Especially with leafy green plants contrasting against the white. The design consists of two components: a sealed 5-sided outer box and an inner box that features large, perforated holes across its flat bottom surface. There are also two deep wells that reach all the way down to the bottom of the outer box when the two boxes are assembled together. With the two boxes assembled, we added soil to the inner black box. And installed the plants. The rectangular shape is perfect for 3 or 4 plants in a row.Once the plants were in, we added water until the gauge showed "Max". At this point the water in the box was slightly below the level of the perforated plastic bottom piece. For the best operation, we tried to keep the box as level as possible. The bottom layer of the soil actually contacts the water in the reservoir. And eventually, plant roots will also reach down through the perforations to the water. Being level is not hyper critical, but it should be close to level so that the water contacts the soil evenly. With the correct plants, the self-watering system works really well. Any water you add to the system through the open area surrounding the water gauge goes right to the reservoir. The system is pretty much seal so any water leaving the reservoir is transported through the soil to the plants or slowly evaporates creating humid air surrounding the plants. The plants love the consistency. I don't have to water them for weeks. And the gauge is an easy to see reminder when watering is required. We like the system. You have to do your homework to choose a plant that likes damp, humid conditions. But once they are established, they will thrive in this environment. If you're looking to try self-watering systems or already have a plant that is a good candidate, this planter is a good one to consider. It has good size; the self-watering system is easy to maintain, and the price is good.
