I really like this fill valve. It’s easy to install and they last a long time. It doesn’t leak and it’s easy to remove.

Does stay open for a few extra seconds, at least my install but maybe to really drain out the bowl?

Used to replace on our 25 year old Mansfield toilets. Does not include tank to bowl mounting kit which is always a good idea to replace when replacing this piece. Tank must be removed in order to install this, so mounting kit should also be purchased when ordering this (tank to bowl gasket and bolts and nuts with rubber washers). Toilet works like new after thorough cleaning and replacement of this. FYI... most times you can get by with just replacing the red gasket on the topside. I only replaced whole assembly because I was removing the toilet for new flooring installation. For issues where you are getting a slow leak to the bowl, it is almost always a dirty or cracked red ring gasket that needs cleaned or replaced. You don't need the whole flush valve assembly.
