I bought this despite seeing reviews about the water not coming out and hoped it would not happen. Well it did. It works for a few drops then stops completely. Avoid at all costs. What a waste of money and sad because it was exactly what I wanted.Edit. Ended up using it anyway but due to the shape you can only fill it less than halfway. I upped my rating from 1 star but I would not recommend unless you plan on being very vigilant about if the water is flowing or not.

Nice little water bottle. Works as it should. No issues with drips or leaks. I will say that with the holder it was still just a little to big for the large plastic critter keeper that I was hoping to use it in. The bottle itself was small enough, but in the holder it hung just a little too low for what I needed. I wished there had been measurements in the description as to total shortness or length when IN the holder but I realize that is asking a lot. I knew it was a possibility it still might hang to low when I ordered.

Perfect. Love how the casing has a slide on flap that can be positioned anywhere in the cage. Easy removal for change. My robo Hammie berrie loves her water bottle. :)

Its so cute! Doesen't leak, very good quality. I got green, and its just like the blue i have. Now i have 2 of these cute little waterbottles for my 2 syrians! I really reccomend this product. 😊

These water bottles are life changing; I work at a pet-store and have tried every water bottle - even the dog ones that we sell in a desperate attempt to find something that could be easily mounted, allow my hamsters to drink without complications, make daily water changes almost effortless, and most importantly - didn't leak. These bottle don't just work for the animal; but the owner as well.But just a warning in case anyone didn't read the entire listing; the bottle comes in a variety of colors and the seller doesn't have anywhere you can select a color option - meaning the color you receive will be a surprise. But at the end of the day, no matter what color you get, it is an amazing product and will save you from going crazy and breaking down crying over water bottles every other day.

I've had 3 different makes of water bottles including the one that came with the Little Ting cage I bought for our new Russian Dwarf hamster's that all dripped , some worse than others , so I started using a water bowl instead. Then whilst browsing on Amazon I came across this one. It has fabulous reviews from many buyers, with only a couple of negative ones with minor issues . Postage was high as its from the USA but it still worked out a very reasonable price. I contacted the seller as I would have preferred a blue or white one . I also in jest mentioned to him that I hoped it didn't leak , like the previous ones !! He promptly emailed me back saying that if it did , to get in touch with him as he had tips from the manufacturer to try before returning it.It arrived yesterday , very quick delivery and much earlier than the date I was given. It was blue , super!! Now the test , did it leak. I fllled it and unless I touched the tip of it not a drop of water came out!!! It is robustly made and worth every penny. I've not put it in place yet as the cage needs cleaning out but I'm sure my robo's will welcome their new water bottle.I'm very , very pleased with it and the companies customer service is exemplary. Thank you very , very much!!!!

Bought to use in a tank (Kerry Terrarium) for my hamster. Metal bends easy to hook over tank (started bend against tank then tightened by putting some of my weight on it). Guard works great at protecting the spout of the bottle and holds it very securely. Includes velcro to prevent side to side movements of guard against tank. Had it a week and so far very pleased. Naturally sits high in the Kerry terrarium but its not much of an issue as hamsters should have deep bedding but can also add level or bendy bridge to reach if you don't use much bedding. Delivery time felt long but it did come from USA to UK so to be expected. Would recommend and plan to buy again for gerbils.

These are the best water bottles for use in glass cages! So many bottles leak or are designed for wire cages. I use this bottle with both hamsters and gerbils. The hanger can be adjusted to lower the bottle for my tiny Roborovski hamster. My chewy gerbils dig at the bottle but can't chew on the plastic due to the metal holder. There's also a little floating white ball inside that helps you keep an eye on the water level. This is very helpful when it's the kids' job to fill it. I have been using these water bottles for over 25 years--I have a couple that are 15 y.o. and still going strong! They have NEVER leaked!

Was hopeful - This one didn't leak but it also didn't dispense water. These kind you do have to sort of prime it, but this particular one I had to bang it against the tank to get water to come out. Gerbils don't do that. They'd die of dehydration if I relied on this thing. Have yet to find one that works without soaking the bedding. FYI Choco Nose works great if in a wire cage, but they don't appear to sell any for aquariums.

Fit quickly and easily on Francesca's wire cage. The bottle size is smaller, but it's very easy to see if it's running low. I give her fresh water every other day anyway and check to make sure it's working every day, anytime I'm near the cage. It's well made and has a chew resistant holder. The missing star is because it drips. It's not a fast drip, but there is always one giant plop hanging from the end if the spout, which eventually falls and is causing the bedding in that area to get damp. I can't see any reason for it to be leaking that way, so I'm just kinda bummed by that. Otherwise, it's made perfectly to fit on horizontal bar cages. On vertical bar cages, it could work, but would take some creative placement.

I hated it when my local chain pet store stopped carrying this product. This is the only water bottle I have found that will easily work for those wanting to keep gerbils in a glass tank. The metal attachment piece bends easily by hand over the edge of the tank, and still allows for the lid to fit on.Even though we have two gerbils in my ten gallon glass tank, I prefer this smaller size water bottle. The bracket is shorter making it possible to position higher up since gerbils love to tunnel and lots of bedding is key to their happiness.Gerbils are more avid chewers than other rodents and as soon as they get bored WILL CHEW A HOLE in any plastic water bottle...especially if it has corners. This waterbottle fits perfectly in its protective metal bracket/casing. In my 15+ years of gerbil owning and breeding in have never had a gerbil able to chew into this bottle.The only tip I would give is that the velcro anchor used to adhere the bottom of the metal frame to the tank is pretty much worthless. I prefer to use a piece of sticky tack on the back. It completely eliminates the dreaded rattle of metal against glass.

These water bottles are great if you get bottles that aren't defective. I have two roborovski dwarf hamsters so I got a bell bottle for each of them. One of the bottles was defective and leaked from the get-go - it would be more than halfway empty an hour after filling it which would soak the substrate around it. Bleh. Amazon was great about taking it back, gave me a prepaid return shipping label so all I had to do was drop it off at a UPS store. I ordered another one to replace it, and this one did not leak. So now I have two bell bottles that work great, no troubles at all with them, no leaking, no dripping.I like the bottle holder because I use bin cages (storage tubs converted into hamster cages, using hardware cloth for ventilation) and the metal part of the bottle holder bends easily to hang over the top side of the bin, and the bin's lid goes over that metal part just fine. This bottle holder makes it easy to lift the water bottle out for refilling. Very happy I got these.
