We were looking for bowls that are truly microwave safe. Having that written in the description and on the dishware does not mean that they will not overheat in the microwave. One of the reviewers mentioned that these bowls did not overheat in the microwave. The companies should define what microwave safe means. Indeed overheating in the microwave is a safety concern. These bowls are perfect for soup when it is the main course as well as for large portions of salad. My husband likes a big bowl of oatmeal which could easily overheat the bowl. He has no complaints.

My family loves soups and stews. These bowls are big enough to satisfy them. They feel substantial without being too heavy.

Having given away some of my bowls I had only on at that size. These are perfect for cereal, salad, soup and more. I did notice when I stacked them that were were not all formed the same and did not fit inside each other uniformly. Other than that these are exactly these are exactly I wanted and they are well made so I'm good with that little anomaly.

Our bowls arrived on time (next day delivery) and look great. They're large enough for our purpose, and look very good at the table.Unfortunately, there were a couple of minor issues (e.g. a chip). I sent a message to the seller, who in LESS THAN TWO HOURS replied with an offer to send me a replacement.In business, you don't know who you're dealing with until something goes wrong. In this case, the seller's actions were beyond my expectations. I recommend the product as well as the company!

I have been slowly replacing my plastic serving bowls for glass or porcelain. I like to serve a variety of large salads when my family comes over for dinner. These bowls are perfect because they hold a lot of salad, but they are not heavy. Plus, they are microwave and dishwasher safe. With the plastic bowls, I worried about the chemicals in the bowls, but because these are porcelain, I worry no more.

It is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.Very convenient for meals where you are mixing food right in your bowl. Instead of flying out, it stays put.These bowls are huge for a meal. Sometimes you need size not for the quantity of food, but just to keep stuff in.If you are doing one meal a day diet, this could be helpful for that.I don't know how durable these bowls are, since I haven't dropped it. I've cleaned them in the dishwasher several times now.
