This battery doesn't snugly fit against the radio's contacts, appearing slightly thinner than what the radio requires for proper functionality. To establish a reliable connection with the back of the radio, I had to insert a paper clip at the top to exert pressure on the contact points. Notably, the original battery is labeled as NGWP, while this replacement one is labeled VEG. The short of it is that this does not work as advertised.
