I really like this backpack. I’ve never owned a lightweight or backpacking type of backpack, but I really like this. It’s comfortable to wear walking around the city with all my stuff. I like the inflatable back rest too. I own some Klymit sleeping bags and pads and the quality and comfort is what I would’ve expected from Klymit.

Really neat design but the air pad did not hold air as others complained about before me.Returned.

I really love this backpack as it is a very well-made, lightweight, comfortable, Innovative product... but like others, I wish it had provisions such as a water bottle holder/lashing straps... I like the large opening on top as I can pack my camera on top and with a little practice, access it without having to take the backpack off... I made a insulated hydration bladder sleeve out of a windshield sun shade that I picked up at my local thrift store for $1 and had excess material to build more sleeves... it protects and stabilizes the bladder from the contents inside the backpack "I use the sleeve with the airframe" and the sleeve also keeps the water cool for hours... the best part is knowing Klymit's customer support is second to none as I had a small issue upon arrival and with a email they responded and resolved the issue immediately... Thank you Klymit!UPDATE☆ 4 Years & still going strong!.. I did modify/remove the inflation bulb as it "dried & cracked" for a inline hose crimp... I just inflate with my mouth & crimp off air with my thumb... the Insert stays inflated for weeks... I highly recommend that Klymit incorporates this idea

the main compartment is dark as you would imagine. The black pack will likely dry faster than the yellow. The air frame is comfortable but the sternum strap is barely passable. if this is meant for hiking then you need a hydration bag which will reduce the volume from 18 to 16L. The hydration bag would be inside the main compartment and there is no drain hole should there be a malfunction everything is going to get wet.

for a daypack for hikes it works awesome. Not sure if you can use the bladder + air frame together though. Not very clear. Needs a small bottle holder on the outside but I did want it lightweight/minimalist so can't argue with it. For the $20 it's great.

LIGHT and functional, Wow, I was surprised when I used it.I have used it all around the world and I like it!The air frame is VERY comfortable, and the adjustable chest strap means it will work for me or my wife.If you deflate the air frame, it rolls up very small to take with you in your luggage.
