Great pack using for rucking. Sandbag straps on nicely.

I've been trying to build a ruck habit, and I've just been using a reinforced backpack. Its fine at 25 lbs, but at 50#, the straps would really dig into my shoulders. I'd been eyeing this for awhile, but felt I had to establish more of a routine before I could justify spending more money. Of course the discomfort kept me from establishing more of a routine….So I grabbed it, and have already been out twice, with 50#. It was easy to adjust, the hip belt/pad is very comfortable and helps distribute the weight. My existing backpack hooked easily to the frame. I'm very satisfied!

Great product but as someone who is 5'7" I cannot get the straps set up in a way that positions the backpack high enough on the hips. I think it's better for taller people.

I'm using this for a prospecting backpack and it's hold the weight of 100lbs. It's very light and seems sturdy.

Ok I was skeptical at first. I was planning to use this pack just to haul firewood to my woodshed, and build strength for a winter ski trip. But last summer on a project, the elevator quit for about three months while I was working on the fourth fifth and sixth floor of a building. This packframe proved to be incredibly useful for moving material and tools. I could double or triple the amount of material and tool that I could easily carry. I have found that 1/2” webbing and simple knots are all I need to fasten various things to the pack. I even found a large rugged cardboard box that I could lash on and carry materials up and down. Currently I’ve been using it for firewood. This pack will carry all you can put on it. As said by others, the straps are a bit funky, but they haven let me down yet.

I use it to haul approximately 50-70 pounds of random stuff for 600-1000 yards once or twice a week. Seems to be holding up ok so far.

Let it be known that is a steel frame. Aside of that, this frame is made for some serious meat or gear packing in/out trips. I feel very confident that this is a good purchase for the price and for the design. The shoulder straps is where I have felt the discomforts in all types of backpacks. BUT this one is made with good ergonomic shaping and padding. The whipped is also an area that can cause hip/lower back pressure with a heavy load. BUT this pack seems to have addressed this with good padding and adjustable strapping. The price is very reasonable on top of all factors.

I am using this frame to transport cage traps over 30 or 40 yards. The normal bulky load is under 30 pounds. The frame fits these Cam-Trip cages perfect. I am sure the frame will carry 100 + pounds. Working in the woods since 1973, such as wildland firefighting I have learned that you should never carry more than about 25% of your body weight. I would not hesitate to carry any type of freight on this frame. For $50 it is an excellent value.
