It's very good for water proofing gear . The only thing that went wrong was one can had leak down when it was in shipping around the spray button , thats why I gave it 4 stars .

I have always used this stuff on my shoes and boots. This stuff works great however one thing to keep in mind. If you over saturate on boots of a lighter color for example timberlands or red timberlands you will notice your boots will turn darker. It's not always a bad thing but it can be be warned. Use the blue spray instead not the green. The green won't do this effect. This one will.

Bought this to water proof my camping gear. It haven't rained when camping but its a layer of protection. The smell isn't horrible if you spray outside. The 4 can is enought for a 10x14 tent. It appearance dries clear and the quality seems sufficient. I hoped it was a bigger can size for more applications. I guess I have to buy more.
