I've been in LE for 25 years, I've used different products throughout my career to keep my mic accessible and secure, this product does both. Regardless if your carrier is internal, external or a plate carrier this product will work. In reading the negative reviews it seems to some that common sense is rare. This is a product so simplistic but yet extremely functional. Need to adjust it? move it, I guarantee you that 1. the correct side of the velcro is built in and 2. there is enough velcro on your vest to place it. This is the only choice when it comes to finding a way to attach your radio to your vest. It is extremely strong and durable and will not come loose.

Im a police officer in a bad area. I have been in dozens of foot chases, fights, and uses of force incidents. and never once has this thing failed to keep my mic were it needed to be. Some of my friends have other mic holders that are cheap plastic things that attach to their buttons. I have seen them all fail, except the mic loop. I have the longer one for my normal uniform and the shirt one for my tac vest.,, I'm telling you if your the police you need this thing. They should issue them at departments.
