Honky sound, the worst for a soprano, hard to play high and low, I love the DV on my alto and tenor but not the soprano, they are all Yanagisawa pro models.

I know they say u should try out a mouth piece first, and it's based on combination with horn, but this mouthpiece is Amazing!!!!!!! I got 7* though, I tried it with my old break up soprano and it made the horn sound like a new horn. It has ALOT of POWER. You can do just about everything with this mouthpiece it is so versatile. When I tried it with my new Allora Vienna Intermediate soprano. I was in heaven. I have been playing sax for 10 yrs. So I have lots of experiences with mouthpieces. I never thought in my life that I would spend so much money on a mouthpiece but it is totally worth it. The decision to buy this mouthpiece was based on time and inability to try out other mouthpieces. I am so happy i purchased this. I recommend!!!! I suggest bigger tip opening like 7.
