Harbor Freight has two diffrent OEM sources for 3500 inverter generator. The parts of different sources are not the same.Thank you.

This product was exactly as described. I received a generator with a faulty inverter directly out of the box and because I had let the generator sit on a shelf for 2 years I had no support from the vendor. I was fairly certain the inverter was the cause of the problem. I replaced it and problem was fixed. The only gripe I have is that it arrived with a broken fin on the heat sync. The heat sync is a cast piece. It was broken before shipping as no part of the broken heat sync was in the packaging. The product was packed well. The piece of the heat sync that was broken doesnt effect the overall function of the inverter. I'm thankful there was a way to buy this part and I didnt end up with an expensive paper weight.
