I find no issue with the quality of this clutch on a 420cc duromax.

Chain clutch balances well and is rugged with a hidden roller bearing to oil frequently. 1 inch is a lot tougher than a 3/4 shaft.

Worked great until my fat friend burnt it up. Keep the weight on the kart under 250 with this clutch if you're trying to make a sketchy speed kart. For reference I adapted this to work with a 3/4 shaft predator 212. Worked perfectly until 320lbs tried to go uphill from a stop, then it welded itself solid

I put this on a 13hp 420cc predator motor. It did not work at first it wouldnt engage at all unless you pushed it and had a running start even then it barely grabbed. After maybe 15 mins of run time it finally engaged okay but still wasnt performing even close to what a clutch should do. So i had to buy a torque converter. I would recommend this on small motors under 8hp or under 300cc
