Remember these are coarse and cheap. As long as we agree coarse and cheap, the uneven teeth and teeth spacing and the number of teeth and overall quality is not great. But the packaging is ok. The rasps work fine for me. I'm not michaelangelo and I'm not working on $3,000 italian marble. I'm rasping some landscape stuff. I did go back and order a stone carving kit from sculpturehouse, it came with a rasp which is much much better, but also finer. Then I ordered more rasps from sculpturehouse for more detailed work I'm doing on soapstone. The woodworkers have Auriou and Liogier and Nicholson, possibly others.

Worked well. I wish I had some finer ones in there but that was my problem as I don't really know what I was looking for. Good product, fast delivery, would buy again.

For a product that advertises that you can use these on stone, I can only assume that they intended them to draw pictures with on stone. I work with marble, a fairly soft stone, and these made no impression on the marble at all. What they DID do was leave a very dark residue where the points wore themselves done on the stone. If you're working in marble or anything higher on the MOHS scale, these are completely useless. Really, absolutely without any merit at all, unless you're in the market for a set of cheese graters.And that star I gave it? That's a negative star.

I purchased this set for my daughter who is an art student. She was very pleased with the set. It is perfect for her project.The set was delivered quickly. the tools are very well constructed and sturdy.
