I used this endmill to cut A32 steel. I have not reached the end of tool life for this tool yet, but I have 3 hours on it now. The steel has hot rolled slag on the surface, and this endmill just buzzes right through it. However, I have only gone through one other 1/2 in endmill with this part I am cutting, and I was able to get over 10 hours on that tool before I had to change it out. That was a Haas brand which had gotten bad reviews. So hopefully it at least makes it close to that 10-hour mark. We will see. I am experienced enough that I can tell when an endmill is wearing out by the sound it makes cutting. So, take that for what it's worth.
