Great in theory but not enough room for plants to grow between each layer. My plants didn’t do great. Wish the bottom was wider. Someone else may have been able to work with it.

They are awesome and even better quality than expected!Be aware they have really good aeration which means the soil dries out 10x faster than normal. So keep an eye on your soil and plants.

As much as I’d like to enjoy this product the design simply isnt great. There is far too much drainage causing your plants to dry out. The pockets should be a different material- like the bottom pocket which is surrounded by a rubberized fabric. Except it only being on the bottom one means all your water collects in the last pocket.

I planted a vertical garden with mostly herbs, and some veggies, and berries. I would definitely recommend filling them from bottom to top because it's harder to fill them in with soil when the one above is filled. I don't have a huge backyard so this was perfect to grow all the plants I wanted to. They do drain a little but do retain enough water for the plants.

I have been having issues with growing strawberries in my yard. I found this hanging wall planter and hung it on my side screen door. The pockets aren't super deep, but 5" does hold a good amount. I do have to water religiously 2 times per day and 3 on hot days, but it's in the direct sun on a south facing wall. The water holds in the pockets, but it does drain once the bottom 2" is full.
