The chest is a great size. The keys are larger in person, lol. They are big enough to see on the pool bottom. The toys are cute as well. A couple sharks, "seaweed" and jewels. If you have littles, you can take a few keys out to make it easier, or just use the one key that works for extra easy level. Toss in more keys to make it more challenging, this will be a lot of fun. The key that does open the chest works no matter which way you stick the key in, this is great especially for toddlers who are still learning and working on coordination skills.

Pretty cool pool toy. It seems a bit flimsy for how much leverage the keys can put on the lock, I could see this getting broken by some kids trying to turn the wrong key too hard. My 4yo seems to understand not to break it with the wrong key, but getting excited during play may throw that out the window. The included sinkies are just fine, but some of the gems have burrs or sharp corners. This could pose an issue for inflateable or some above ground pools. I tossed the squares and had to trim a couple of burrs from the mold off of the others. The point of the heart seems ok, not as sharp or pokey as the squares corners. The handle slides down flush with the lid, so it won't get broken in storage, but it doesn't like to stay up, just falls right back in.Overall I think it's a good toy, not exactly fragile, just may not be robust enough for younger kids.

I got this for our 3-5 year old kids. During play, we discovered that six keys are just too many. The kids never managed to pick the correct key and got frustrated. We reduced the number to only three keys. The kids were able to find the correct key a little more often so that they didn't become upset and quit playing. The way we've been playing is -The keys are in the pool, so they have to dive after them but the chest is on the patio - where it's easier for the kids to access the lock and the choice of toy.The kids find the correct key and get to remove one toy from the chest. They toss that toy into the pool and lock the chest back up.The key gets tossed back into the mix. When they think they've got enough of the toys scattered about the pool, we set them free, trying to round up all the toys they've scattered. After counting to see who rounded up the most treasure (toys), the toys get put back into the chest for the next time to play. This is a really fantastic way to get the kids playing together in the pool. With the three extra keys being removed from the chest, there is lots of room to put other items in that can be used in this pool game. MADE IN CHINA .

My twins lost it before we even started with the pool...they love bath toys, pool toys etc and I couldn't even open it without them disappearing with it! They love it! The multiple keys that don't fit and the one that does is cool and they already figured out how that works! They are 4. I can't wait to teach them to dive with this! My teenager is also excited he loves to dive too!
