First time roasting coffee beans and I used the stove top method to start. While the beans do not get an even roast with this method, the flavor is great. I use them for espresso. I usually go for medium but the description said these have brightness so I wanted more on the dark side of med to tone it down a bit. Now I am looking for a simple roaster to get a more even roast on the beans, but you can't beat making something yourself to your own taste. Looking around at green coffee beans, a price of $14.95 for 8.8oz seems to be on the pricier side, but this is a good size to see if you like roasting before buying larger quantities. Very glad to have tried this.

This was my first experience with green coffee beans and I was very pleased! I had a lot of fun roasting them myself and the flavor of the coffee is rich and robust.
