I roast my own beans from coffees all over the world and always come back to Jamaica Blue Mountain green beans as the best out there. Certainly they rate right up there with Kona and what I like somewhat better is the smooth complexity (with a medium roast) of Blue Mountain without any aftertaste and NO bitterness. The beans are consistent and quality - should be with only the best being hand picked. For me the best recommendation I can give is that they are right on par with Kona, in which I also love to roast. As far as the value for the money - you certainly get what you pay for.

Very rich and full coffee, but not at the inflated price.3 1/2 times the price of other very good coffees and not more than 50% better.

Connoisseur here, IMO, there are three kinds of coffee: Coffee, Kona Estate Grown coffee, and Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Kona, of course, takes the prize for robusta beans . But for Arabica beans, Blue Mountain is just as unmatched as Kona. It’s a completely different taste palate from all other coffees. And this supplier did not disappoint. Perfect product. Well done.
