This was an easy install on my friends boat. It replaced one that got somehow torn off. It took all of 20 minutes to do the installation, likely less time if I didn't have "help"! He appears very happy with it as it has been installed for 2 months now and I haven't heard a word about it.

I have two boats and wanted to use the GPS on both boats so I got this part. Works perfectly fine; a little expensive but when you have two boats, can't complain that something is expensive....
