Both the tap and die cut well. But neither is marked "left hand". This would be helpful in identifying them now and in the future.

Picture shows half the tap broken off down in the hole. The threads were already there and damaged so, it wasn't cutting completely new threads.It's cheap and if you're going to use it on soft metals, it would probably be great..
