The clock is beautiful and has a rich sounding chime. The chime, however, is not in sync with the time and the clock ends up chiming minutes before the appropriate time is reached. The clock was meant to be a gift and instead had to be returned.

This clock was ordered to replace a chiming clock that I don't have now. However, I have NEVER been able to set the Chimes so they ring at the quarter hours.I don't know who or how to contact anyone that can help me do this......sad.Right now it chimes at 12 minutes after the hour, 27 min 42 & 57 min.....sigh

Love this clock!!!!!We had an old sessions mantel clock for years, and then it started to break down and had it fixed numerous times, sad to say it sits up on a shelf in the closet nowadays.But I found this beautiful clock on Amazon and needless to say, it’s everything I wanted and more.. No more having to wind a clock up once a week. Keeps perfect time, looks gorgeous, and the quality of the chimes is stunning.We are so very happy!

The chimes sounded beautiful but would activate minutes before the hour. Was not possible to adjust time of clock to match the sounds. On a positive note called Amazon and had no issues at all with returning the clock.

My husband loved it. We have alot of wood in our house so I was slightly concerned that it would mesh well...it lookes beautiful! This clock is just the right size for our mantle, well worth the cost.

Very solid piece of work. Attractive. Simple and elegant looking on my mantle. The chimes are very melodious, and I like being able to adjust the volume.Only gave it four stars for accuracy because while the clock keeps perfect time, the chimes on the quarter hour are slightly out of sync (e.g., it chimes at 13 after the hour instead of 15.) This, however, is merely a minor quirk. On the whole I'm well pleased with the clock.
