We placed these solar house numbers on our fence facing our alley where there is little light. In the daytime, it helps repair/service/delivery find our address and at night, it not only provides house numbers in the case of emergency, it provides additional lighting. It was easy to install and requires little maintenance other than cleaning the solar panel off occasionally.

I brought one for my house and my daughter's , we have an alley way behind our houses , it is not a public road it is for the homes that are in front of it , like for private parking , dropping off/picking up & emergency issues . But lately it seems when we have deliveries like for pizza or even Amazon from time to time their GPS brings them in the alley way behind the houses which have no address markers on the houses & like the pizza guy will just drive & drive through the alley way which there are children playing & pets , so I got two of these . So easy to set up, I used the doubled sided tape instead of the screws didn't want to put holes in my siding , I cleaned the back of both lights & the area by the back door on the siding & mine is still stuck no issues , but my daughter's keeps falling down so I will get stronger tape for hers , but all in all they are working great bright enough for people to see the numbers which three sheets of numbers & letters is plenty . I have mine under my outside auto light & the address sign turns off when the light goes on and then on after light goes out .

Painted our house and wanted house number that were visible from the street. Ordered this house number and it is under a cover awning and still lights up at night. Installation was easy, bright enough to see from the street and well worth the price

I bought this the day after a lost delivery driver walked up to our house at 10:30 at night, finally saw our house numbers and left. I was already on the phone with 911.It's pretty simple, comes with many vinyl numbers and letters and a 3 place and 4 place template to arrange and stick the numbers to the lighted background. It has two settings, white and amber. We liked amber best.The instructions tell you that it only charges when the device is on but it is difficult to tell if the device is on when you are in a well lit area because the photo cell turns off the light. I covered the photo cells, was able to see that the device was on, uncovered the cells and left the device is bright sunlight before I installed it. Tonight, it's working perfectly.You can now see my address at night from the street. I think this is a great price and a great product and well made.UPDATE 2/4/2024. I was concerned about the photo cell fully charging during the short days and stormy weather but so far it's been flawless.
