My husband saw these were on a trusted reviewer's list of tools. He noticed they were removed from that list just before he purchased them, but he got them anyhow. He found out why they were removed from that list when he used them for the first time and they broke immediately. Bought the steel GearWrench ones instead.

I used two of the large ones out of the three to pinch the heater hose (5/8" ID) on a truck while I flush the heater core. The pinched hose did not leak.

I needed a set of these for a very specific set of hoses, and these appeared to include sizes I would need. Ultimately it was the two smallest sizes I ended up needing, rather than the larger two.These should work for virtually any automotive hose, and appear to be excellent quality. I left mine in place for multiple days and they had zero leaks, and still look brand new.
