it gets the job done but the overall construction of the tool is a bit flimsy so much so that i feel like its gonna fall apart when used on some tougher hose clamps that don't wasn't to release....so far it has not broken but only time will tell how well these hold up to future abuse

This is another example of a tool that you don't know you need until you use it. I have always used needle-nose pliers to deal with hose clamps but these little gems lock into the hose clamp so that it is much easier to spread the clamp and keep them spread until you remove them or lock them back into place. I have slipped so many times removing hose clamps using the old ways that this is like a dream. Just get these you will love them. 5/5 stars.
