Chose this to accustom a young horse to the feeling of a cinch. It's exactly what I wanted, exactly as described / pictured, and seems to be good quality. Can also be used to keep a winter blanket on the mare who always unhooks her belly straps, so double duty. I am pleased with this item.

Turn out blanket had seen a lot of wear. One belly strap was missing. This elastic strap wraps around the horse’s barrel and holds the blanket in place. The hind leg straps and chest buckles on the blanket were still in working order.

I put them around my horse on top of their sheets or winter blankets, should their straps come loose!Have used them for many years!

Works exactly as intended will go up to Large draft horses and fits great on my mare. She ripped her buckle off and this was great instead of replacing the whole cooler

This has obviously been used on a horse already. Both sides had dirt and horse hair. Huge disappointment

I ordered this to go over a stable blanket that won't stay put. Fortunately my thoroughbred is small enough around the girth for this to fit. Even though it's elastic, it's way too tight on my Hanoverian. Other than being so small, it works great.
