I love these blankets. I have 3 now! The belly strap is really great for extra comfort and protection from the ice and snow. The clips on the front and backs are super easy and don’t take long at all so my hands don’t freeze!

I didn't measure my little mare, I just knew how many hands she was (13.2 & got the 66), googled, & went with that. Thankfully it's fit was perfect. It is extremely thick (maybe almost too heavy for Louisiana climate, but only plan on using it when our temps drop below 32) very well made material. I feel like it will definitely last. She kinda fussy about her back legs so I didn't do the back leg straps, but it definitely was not going anywhere even without. My gelding is in the 14h range & I got him the 69 & it also fit him perfectly. No rain, so can't speak on just how waterproof it is. The color is absolutely brilliant, & there was lots of room to adjust to fit just right. Only complaint is I wish there was a better way to secure the belly band to the rest of the blanket when not in use. 10/10 recommend. If that changes, I'll come back to correct, but as of now I'm happy with my purchase.

My horse has had this blanket on all winter and it still looks new (I live in the northeast). I got a 69” for my15h quarter horse. Fits well with no rub marks.

I bought a fly sheet from Hilason’s website last summer and I couldn’t have been happier about it. I saw this plaid blanket and I had to get it! The fly sheet after a long summer is a bit faded from the sun but the first one to stay in one piece for a whole summer!So knowing that I was not hesitant at all to purchase such a nice blanket for such a great price. It got here three days earlier than expected and it is beautiful. It fits my horse like it was custom made. It has sursingles you can use for warmer days and a belly band that goes over it and hooks toward the middle of the back. The neck is adjustable. And the leg straps are fifty yards long! I can’t say enough good things about it. In fact I bought another one in a smaller size because she drifts between two sizes 72 and 74 depending on the blanket. I was afraid this one would be too long but I called and spoke to the Hilason store and they told me to go ahead and try the larger size because I would find it was very easy to get either size just right for my girl. THEY WERE RIGHT. So instead of sending one back I am going to keep them both. When one needs to be cleaned I now have a spare and the best part is that these two blankets cost me less than the one I am replacing that cost a whole lot more and never did fit right. I am one happy horse owner. I love the quality of Hilason and they have a customer for life.
