Great product to use to wipe down metal surfaces of firearms to remove fingerprint and hand residue preventing rust from forming on precision metal surfaces. Large container will last a long time.

This is a brilliant idea. Perfect for cleaning inside and out. Can be cut to use in small spaces. Can be attached to cleaning tools to clean inside guns. Can be used to wipe dirt or moisture outside of gun. Perfect amount of oil comes out on every wipe. My new favorite gun cleaning accessory.

I used these on my Ruger Security 9 automatics -- which are simple, blued steel -- and even after 3 weeks, I didn't see any rust or other issues that others reported. These are great for using about anywhere.They might seem 'dry' but they very much are *NOT*. They are very much oiled and ready-to-use. Whatever you do, and I think this is why others had rust issues, do *NOT* add water. Just try them, even if they seem 'dry.'

I tend to care for my belongings quite meticulously. This goes triple for my firearms. After use, and before going into storage, I make sure everything is cleaned and oiled on the inside. The outside was no exception, however - ever since I started using Hoppe's wipes - now it takes much less time and effort.One large sheet is enough to wipe down every external part and surface of every long gun in my collection (I'd venture you could get 4 ~ 5 long guns with one whole sheet). A half sheet can easily clean any of my pistols (again, at least 4 ~ 5 full size pistols - more if polymer framed). They make short work of dirt, gunpowder residue, excess solvent or oil, and fingerprints. The wipes are safe to use on all external materials, leaving surfaces spotless. Afterward, a quick pass over any essential grip areas with a paper towel ensures good handling.Cleaning is so much easier with these wipes, and it's good to know that my firearms are protected from corrosion with Hoppe's No. 9 Oil. I've trusted Hoppe's products for decades, appreciating their quality and affordability... They've always exceeded my expectations.
