I pull one of these through the barrel every 50 +- rounds at the range. It's not the thorough cleaning I follow up with, but I think it's a wise practice. Get them in all your calibers especially .22.

What used to take 10-15 minutes per gun now takes less than one, and with way less mess and waste. No need for expensive 1-piece rods and bore guides to protect barrels. No need for patch after patch after patch. No messy clean-up. Simply squirt bore cleaner on the three bristles, oil/lube on bushy tail end. One pass and done. Great for bolt actions, even better for lever actions, semi-autos, and revolvers. Regular dish soap to clean and hang up to dry. So compact that my cleaning supplies for 13 calibers now fit in a shoe box, rather than taking up an entire shelf and numerous rods hanging on pegs. My father and grandfather would be so jealous to see how such a boring and time-consuming - yet so necessary - task has become so quick and easy!
