These things are slicker than snot!! A few squirts of clp or hoppes 9 on the front end, pass it through 3 times and she’s clean as a whistle!!

Cleaned out my rifle real good. Just make sure you lube it up before you pull it through, use that handle or wrap it around your hand a couple times if you don't mind cleaner on your hands and some sore skin. Even handy as a quick brush on other parts if you grip it right under the wire brush sections.

This is the newest model of Boresnake called Hoppe's VIPER BORESNAKE! IT has three brass brushes instead of the Old Model which had only ONE! Fast Cleaning and Oiling! Wash Boresnake in warm water and dish soap when dirty ....Air Dry and put back in a Zip Lock Bag! Works Well! I have purchased several of these Viper Boresnakes in different calibers! You Have to TRY ONE!

Only got to use it once, as the brass weight came off when I tried to use the plastic t- handle. Cannot use again because you need the weight to get the snake through the barrel. I'm returning this and trying another brand.

Well...most gun cleaners out there will tell you that a Bore Snake is a Bore Snake....but to me personally that really is Not true. Sadly...in the past I have purchased some Bad Snakes before....live & learn. But for years now I have gone with Hoppe's Viper and I have never turned back. These Snakes are really good. Like others they will certainly wear down and you will need to replace it....but I have found the Viper goes a bit further than others and I feel confident that its giving my barrel a pretty good scrubbing in there. I'm a Hoppe's guy with everything and these Snakes have joined my other Hoppe's products. Good Deal...def Reco.
