Great way to store a bike rack. I was originally considering attaching a hitch receiver to a post in my garage, but was concerned about weight. This dolly was a perfect alternative. It’s very sturdy and has a small footprint.

The tubing is very thin, and will squish out as you try to tighten hardware with the small wrenches supplied. I have 1UP bike rack which is below the weight limit but pushing the max. It didn’t seem to handle it will as the tubs were starting to sag. For the price I had high hopes, but did not seem sturdy enough to keep. For light weight racks it should work fine.

I got this for my girlfriend who has trouble moving our Hollywood Destination E bike rack around when I am not there to help her. I surprised her with this for her birthday and it is excellent. It makes it a breeze for her to move the rack around in the garage and helps make it easier to attach and detach from her SUV. I think this is an excellent product and well worth the cost.

I do refurbs on old racks and this is a fantastic tool that allows full working access to all sides of a rack. I can even install two racks at once, being careful with weight distribution/balance. Makes moving and storing your carrier VERY easy. Should be sufficient for just about any rack, Though I'd be carful with a "top-heavy" 4-Bike carrier such as T2 Pro, T2 Classic, or KUAT. Took me almost 10 minutes (from un-box to finish) to assemble: a few sips of beer was involved. I did replace the wheel/casters with a more heavy duty set due to the original set seemed a bit weak for my usage.

First - if you are lucky enough to be reading this BEFORE you have purchased your bike rack order it now. It provides a great platform on which to assemble your bike rack. Otherwise to assemble your bike rack you generally need to insert the base into the hitch receiver on your car.This is a simple and effective as it appears. I have a four bike rack - the Thule T2 Pro XT with the two bike add on - and this is very stable. The center of gravity seems to be perfectly centered and I am not able to cause the bike rack to tip through any normal pushing in any direction. Perhaps if you have small children you may want to take a precaution (attach to wall, etc.) to keep them from climbing on the rack as that could possibly result in it tipping.One note mentioned already is that the pin hole is very far into the hitch receiver and the retractable hitch pin of the Thule T2 does not reach the hole. No matter - it would be completely without purpose to engage the hitch pin as the T2 is not going to pull out of the valet as you move it around. I probably wouldn't bother to engage (and then disengage) the pin even if it did reach the hole.It was very simple to assemble - you have to tighten 8 bolts - 4 with a 13 mm wrench/socket and 4 with a 17 mm. Seems priced right for what you get. It's one of those products that you are glad someone took the time to design and produce.

Works great. I have a thule t2 pro with add on. It's a beast. This product solve my problem of storing it when not in use. Surprisingly stable with my big rack on it. Package didnt have instructions but its fairly straight forward to assemble. Assembly instructions are online as well.

This works perfectly. I am Using it with a Thule pro XT2 rack. This helps to Move the heavy rack from the garage to the truck. I made an extra hole for rack pin but realized it works well without the use of the hole..I recommend not to Make the extra hole and just use it as it shipped.
