After wasting a lot of time researching and reading reviews, I finally ended up selecting this Stand. I'm so, so glad I decided on this stand. It is super lightweight but very sturdy. The tubing is a large diameter but light as a feather. Assembly is a bit tricky had to adjust tie strap that came with it, you have to pay close attention to the illustrations. This stand handles it with ease. Overall, I couldn't be happier.

I got this for my son's 18" bike in our garage. It fits his bike but that is probably close to the minimum size that will work. Assembly is quick but the "instructions" are horrible. You basically get a tiny exploded view drawing on a page. They also don't show what to do with the hose clamps. You are better off referencing the one photo in the listing that shows all the parts. At first I questioned the stability but if you get it adjusted right it works really well. It doesn't really seem like you get much for the $38 price but that seems to be comparable to other listings. If you are like me and need to store a bike vertically and don't have a wall to hang it on, this will fit the need well.

The instructions included with this product are trash. There's no other way to put it. All you get is a badly-photocopied sheet which has an exploded diagram in the very corner. I've included a scan, so you can see. It took me about twenty minutes to put together, but would have taken five had real instructions been provided. There's no instructions on how to attach the wheel hook (more on that later) or what the two hose clamps are for. Turns out, those go on the slotted section of the two horizontal rails, to keep them from moving. They're completely ineffective at this task, even when turned very tightly.Secondly, the hook you're meant to use to keep the wheel straight just doesn't work. The wheel turns until the hook is at the fork crown, the the wheel and handlebars flop over This is on a bike with a carbon fork, lightweight wheels, and narrow bars. Something heavier would undoubtedly be even worse. Instead of this system, a simple strap (either velcro, or with a buckle) should have been included. I did put the hook around the steerer tube to keep the bike in-place, at least. The seatpost cradle really needs to be rubberized. I wrapped it in some tape, as I don't want my seatpost or seat tube scratched. To give this stand some credit, though, it does hold my road bike upright very securely. It's relatively easy to use, and the parts themselves feel pretty sturdy. It's a fairly large bike (700c wheels, 57cm frame), and there's still a bit of adjustment left for even bigger. It should have no problem holding smaller bikes. It's entirely useless as a horizontal 'roll-in' stand, as the picture shows. There's not enough lateral support, and the bike falls right over. While this stand does work quite well, the lack of proper instructions is extremely disappointing. Additional issues include the ineffective method for securing the horizontal adjustment and holding the front wheel straight. If all of these issues were rectified, it would easily be a five star product. Competitors offer products without any of the above problems for around the same price, so I'd recommend them instead.
