Industry-first Embedded UVC Function
Built on HEVO technology, Cosmo C1 supports UVC (USB video capture) for direct live streaming. Without the UVC function, you still need to get an extra video capture card to push video to the internet. Now, all you need is a USB-C cable to connect the receiver to a laptop/computer and bring your video production to live in real-time.
HDMI & 2*SDI Interface
Cosmo C1 supports HDMI or SDI video input. When using SDI input, the transmitter allows SDI LOOPOUT to a small monitor for the cameraman to get a better view. The receiver supports video output from HDMI and 2 SDI ports to 3 monitors at the same time.
Auto Channel Switch
Cosmo C1 supports both manual and auto channel switching with adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) and seamless retransmitting technology. Under AUTO mode, the device will automatically switch to clean channels when there is signal interference.
Smart Indicator Light
Cosmo C1 is built with an indicator light above the OLED screen to inform you of the battery power and connection status. A solid orange light: normal. Flashing orange: no video input. Flashing red: low battery. No light: TX and RX are disconnected.
Vertical/Horizontal Mounting
Cosmo C1 comes with a 1/4"-20 threaded hole at the bottom and 2* M3 threaded holes in the front. You can use the cold shoe/magic arm to install the device vertically to your camera setup or use the expansion accessory to install it horizontally.
Multiple Power Supply Options
Cosmo C1 supports DC power (6-16V), NP-F series battery like NP-F970/750/550, USB-C power(5V/2A), and you can also add a D-Tap to DC cable to use V-mount battery power. DC power and NP-F batteries are recommended as priority choices.
Smart Fan Mode
Cosmo C1 comes with an intelligent cooling fan. It automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the device’s temperature. No need to set or change the fan modes during work. The fan noise is lower than 50dBA, which will not affect your video production.

I tied different connecting HDMI cables, also various power sources, various channels and close proximity from TX to RX. None of these variables indicated the problem. I saw an intermittent signal that look like the image would flicker to a squashed image (flattened horizontally) but I could not recreate the intermitency purposely. Then, with nothing jogged or touched, after a few minutes, the anomaly stopped. I have three sets. Now I'm afraid what might happen during a production.
