These gears are well machined and have actually quieted down my RC as there's a slight bevel to the teeth, which is a nice touch. Very impressed for the price and having so many options really helps dialing in the car.

These meshed perfectly with my spur gear in multiple vehicles. Durability seems fine, be careful not to over-tighten the set screw.

I liked the idea of aluminum pinions to reduce unsprung weight however the teeth on these aren’t ideal. If you take notice the teeth ends are flat so even with perfect gear mesh settings the teeth doesn’t get anywhere close to the stock traxxas pinion therefore you will strip some spur gears. Plus being 48p doesn’t help at all as you can prolly get away with that teeth type on a 32p. Now before you disregard this review and say my slipper clutch is too tight I will let you know I went through 3 spur gears and the second and third had looser slipper settings as the first I did have it tighter than factory. The pinions work great for when I was bashing and thrashing around but the moment I took my traxxas slash to the track and did the big double and triple jumps that’s when I had the problem. At first I thought it was the slipper clutch so I continued my track day with it on and replaced the spur but by the third time I decided to take a closer look and that was what I discovered. I wish I took a picture before I threw them away but after my third spur gear I threw on the stock traxxas pinion and had no problems the rest of the day. But if your not going to the track I’d say it’s ok but I have seen better pinion sets for about the same price with better teeth. That’s my 2 cents.

Missing some gears and allen set screw... The 23t that was what I really wanted to use was plastic. The wrench is cheap and turns inside of the screw head. Also, the gears do not slide onto the motor shaft... Traxxas Rustler 2wd.

You seem to be far more precise than stock should work well
