I snagged these to keep around ofr spares. They can in very handy today when i decided I wanted to motor swap my Associated Hoonitruck. The truck comes with a 22 T so I jumped up 1 to try a 23 and test heat from there.Overall Nice qualityFit the Hobbywing more without an adapter needed, and would have fit the REEDY motor if i wasnt removing it.The grub screw is solid, didn't have any slippage of the wrench at all and it locked down firmly.Overall Im super happy with these Pinions, and its really a great value, especially with the adapter Included.

Most cars that use a motor with a 5mm shaft also use 32dp or module-1 gears. But I have an old Durango truck that uses a 48dp spur gear with a 550 motor, which means these gears are the perfect solution. The machining looks clean and the laser etching is solid. I did not notice any abnormal gear noise or wear on the teeth after running a pack through the car with one of these pinions installed.I did not need to use the included motor shaft adapter, but I am not sure I would trust it. The fit is a little too loose. Tightening the setscrew when you install the pinion will take up any tolerance in the joint, but then the gear will be slightly off-center on the motor shaft and could cause premature wear or failure. Plus, you only get one adapter. If your motor has a 3.175mm shaft, just get 3.175mm gears.
